Bailey trekt staart volledig in: "Dat heb ik nooit gezegd"

"De media kunnen gevaarlijk zijn", schrijft hij op Instagram. "Ik heb nooit gezegd dat ik zeker wil spelen bij een club. Het is belangrijk dat ik speeltijd krijg om mijn kwaliteiten te tonen. Ik heb ook nooit gezegd dat als ik niet zou starten, ik bij Genk blijf. Ik zie voetbal als een progressie en ik leer nog elke dag. Mijn vader en mijn managersteam behartigen mijn zaken."

En over de interesse van Manchester United... "Ik heb respect voor Manchester United en alle andere clubs. Ik wil overal strijden voor een basisplaats. En Genk zal voor mij altijd speciaal blijven. Als het tijd is om te vertrekken, zal ik dat moet goeie herinneringen doen. Ik hoop wel dat de media stopt mijn woorden te verdraaien."

media can be dangerous sometimes. I have never said I must start at any club or I will not leave. it's important that I get the playing time to show my qualities. I have also never said if I don't start I will stay at genk. I see football as a progression and I learn more each day.. my management team and my father manages the business of football. I respect Manchester United and all football clubs and I am always willing to earn my place on any team. Krc Genk will always be special to me but whenever it is time to move on then I will do so with good memories . I'm a humble young man and I thank all clubs for the interest they are showing in me & my brother. Ive a management team please speak to them about any matters as I'm really more concentrated on my football. And i hope the media will stop twisting my words. #OneLove ❤️ #LB31
