Romelu Lukaku moest al wat kritiek slikken in Engeland, maar vanavond hebben velen vooral medelijden met hem
You love him or you hate him, onze Romelu Lukaku.
Martial and Lingard ruined 2 amazing assists for Lukaku. Like seriously they couldn't have asked for better passes. Feel for him.

Romelu Lukaku has been phenomenal. Deserves two assists tonight. Superb.

Lukaku has had a brilliant game. Robbed of two assists
— Will (@MourinhoSZN) December 23, 2017
Lukaku could have had two excellent assists so far. Shambolic misses from Martial and Lingard. If we don’t win this game Jose will go absolutely ape shit in the dressing room.

I've seen a lot of "get Lukaku the right service and he'll score" and I agree. However, he needs to learn how to move in and around the box in order for that service to come. He drifts to the far post EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. How about meeting 45 degrees? Burst at the first post?

Lukaku picks another excellent pass (read unintelligent), and yet another bad miss. Good to see him doing things those who know football claim he can't do. We agree he has no sense.

Let’s talk about Lukaku’s passing for a moment. pic.twitter.com/B5Malj5O2o

Romelu Lukaku’s link-up play tonight has been superb. Perfect pass into Martial’s path. Has improved hugely.
— Liam Canning (@LiamPaulCanning) December 23, 2017
Lukaku has been fantastic today, Martial and Lingard should've scored.

This is exactly the type of performance Lukaku was putting in at Everton. Doing great at setting up teammates who can't finish, whilst they can't give him the clear cut chance he desperately wants
— Adam Jones (@Adam_Jones94) December 23, 2017
Now there’s a right to be angry at every frikkin striker besides Lukaku. Today he was man of the match.. but the others were wasteful. Chance after chance after chance. This is all on our strikers. All.

If only Lukaku got the kind of service he provided
— Sophism (@Sleeky_Prince_) December 23, 2017
Genuinely feel for Lukaku! Let down by the rest of the team.
— Hêlîn (@MUnitedGirl) December 23, 2017
Lukaku was class tonight, put so many chances on a plate for others. Should've been 3/4 up heading into the last 5 minutes.
— Josh (@Martialized) December 23, 2017
Romelu Lukaku has been downright brilliant tonight, clearly put in a lot of work into the other facets of his game & it's paying off.
— Adam Joseph (@AdamJosephSport) December 23, 2017
Lukaku deserved at least 4 assists today but those players were unfortunate with their finishing
— Abdul (@certifiedopeboi) December 23, 2017
Romelu Lukaku was absolutely superb tonight. Created two clear chances and had virtually no service for himself all night.

Lukaku appreciation tweet ! Teammates have let him down but he’s been really good.

Some of Lukaku's link play has been sublime
— James Robson (@JamesRobsonMEN) December 23, 2017
Lukaku will be so frustrated after that, did absolutely everything he could to try and get us ahead. We've been let down by defensive mistakes and our inability to stay clinical in front of goal.
— United Peoples TV (@UnitedPeoplesTV) December 23, 2017
Mata and Lukaku did everything they could to save #footballchristmas.
— Tatiana Tacca (@TatianaMUFC) December 23, 2017
Lukaku has had one of his best games but is playing with idiots! My goodness
— Ofisa Taju Onikondo (@badmankayy) December 23, 2017
Lukaku deserved to be on the winning side today, he was superb & hopefully this can be the start of him really coming into it as an all round United striker

WTF was Rashford doing not playing Lukaku through there? pic.twitter.com/iDysulg2bC

Lukaku should be fuming with his teammates today. Created 3 sitters and not a single one scored. Nothing created for him.
