Een halfuurtje duurde het tot de Rode Duivel zijn duivels ontbond. Hazard tekende op het halfuur voor de 0-1 door het leer hard naast McCarthy te plaatsen, nummer zeven al voor de topschutter. Ook bij de andere twee goals van Chelsea was de dribbelkont betrokken. Hij gaf nog een assist op Morata en lokte een vrije trap uit die de tweede goal inleidde.
