Arsenal kwam in een storm terecht toen enkele spelers op videobeelden betrapt werden op het gebruik van lachgas en ook de partij tegen Huddersfield ging niet van een leien dakje. Het was Lucas Torreira die de meubelen redde met de winning goal. Depoitre stond in de basis en bleef de hele match ook staan.

Burnley, zonder de geblesseerde Defour haalde het met dezelfde score van Brighton, Cardiff won eveneens met 1-0 van Southampton. West Ham United haalde het in de mooiste match van deze middag met 3-2 van Crystal Palace. Benteke was bij de bezoekers nog steeds geblesseerd.
